The danger of a single story:Talk by Chimamanda Adichie

Chimamanda Adiche Ngozi is the author of a novel:  Half of a Yello Sun, a story about Biafran War. She is a good story teller who can recount some complex situations in simple words. Though, I have been refraining myself from fiction, but Half of a Yellow Sun is among the nice book I have recently read.

Half of a Yellow Sun.Adiche

In this talk-Danger of a single story, Chimamanda eloquontly explain the problem  Africa has been facing:single stories told by foreigners. It is worth listerning and remind us all that, it is our time to tell the stories about Africa. Not single stories about wars, hunger and diseases but about prosperity, peace and our resilence.

This story was shared by Chambi Chachage who is now the ‘disciple’ of Chimamanda in telling stories. Chambi, thanks for sharing
